Q: How do I select a city outside
of my current location? |

A: From the home screen, touch the
options button. From there, you can browse from a list of cities
and popular metro areas or enter a street address. Check out cities
like San Francisco or Chicago even while you're sitting in New
York! |

Q: There are no establishments
near me. How do I expand my search? |
|
A: If no establishments are returned,
you can adjust the default search range (5 miles), up to 50 miles
from your current location. This option can be accessed by selecting
the options button on the Navigation bar from the home screen.
You can also browse or search by State, City, metro area or address,
to find a specific item. |

Q: I've expanded my search and
there are still no (or few) restaurants. Where are they? |
|
A: Please refer back to the list of
cities and regions supported in the application description. Cities
beyond those markets are supported but may have limited content.
We encourage users to review the description of the application
completely before making a purchase. Any city or region listed
in the description will have hundreds of Zagat Rated restaurants.

Q: I live in a big city and I'd
like to narrow my search results. How can I limit my search? |
|
A: You can adjust the search range
(radius) to as narrow as a half-mile from your current location.
Access this by selecting the "Options" button on the Navigation
bar from the home screen. |

Q: ZAGAT TO GO '09 is having trouble
finding my current location. Help! |
|
A: The iPhone relies on three methods
for determining location: GPS, cell towers, and Wi-Fi. While GPS
is most accurate, it can be difficult to get a fast signal indoors.
If you're having trouble, try enabling Wi-Fi or step outside (or
closer to a window). |

Q: Why is a wireless
connection required to use the application? |
|
A: Zagat listings are updated regularly.
With restaurants opening and closing we want to ensure you have
access to the freshest data. |

Q: I have an iPhone
3G and sometimes I can't get ZAGAT TO GO to load results. Help! |
|
A: Weak 3G reception (1 to 3 bars)
can easily limit or halt your internet connection. We recommend
disabling 3G when your reception is poor before starting ZAGAT
TO GO. 3G can be disabled by accessing Settings > General > Network
> Enable 3G ON/OFF. Your phone will automatically use Edge connectivity.
You can re-enable 3G at any time. |

Q: This application won't run (or
crashes unexpectedly). What do I do? |
|
A: Please try the following three troubleshooting methods:
Be sure you've powered off your phone and then powered it back
on at least once after downloading ZAGAT TO GO. To power off,
hold the top button on your phone down and slide the power off
option once it appears.
Verify that you have enough free space on your device by going
to Settings > General > About. An 8GB device (~7GB is usable)
should have 10% free (at least 700MB in this example) to operate
without error. Unlocked devices are not supported.
You may have noticed that other apps also occasionally crash.
Ensure you have upgraded your phone to the most recent iPhone
Operating System (OS). When connected to your computer, iTunes
will verify if you have the latest upgrade.

Q: What devices and
OS versions are supported? |
|
A: Any iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod
Touch. OS versions 2.1 and 2.2.1 have been certified. iPod Touch
requires an active wifi connection. |

Q: I have a paid ZAGAT.com
subscription. Why isn't ZAGAT TO GO free for me? |
|
A: All iPhone app purchases
are handled by Apple through the iTunes app store. Apple does
not support integrations of account information with third-party
developers. |

Q: Can I transfer my subscription
from BlackBerry/Palm/Windows Mobile to iPhone? |
|
A: Apple controls all digital rights management for AppStore
purchases, thus your existing ZAGAT TO GO subscription for other
platforms is not transferable to the iPhone product.

Q: I want to use this offline!
When will you have an offline version? |
|
A: We're working on a way to balance
offline needs such as fully downloaded guide content as well as
online needs like up-to-date listings, openings, closings, photos,
mapping, GPS, etc. |

Q: Can I write reviews in the app? |
|
A: No, but we do allow registered
ZAGAT.com users to write reviews on our mobile website www.zagat.mobi.

A: Zagat ratings are based
on a 0 to 30 scale. Our highly specific ratings will let you know
the differences between restaurants that you'd never find on a
narrow scale. |

0 to 30. Why all the quotes in the reviews? |

A. Our professional editors select quotes from user reviews
provided from nearly 400,000 travelers! Each review contains
quotes that summarize the overall feelings of diners worldwide.
